Admiral Markets' trading and investment seminars in Lithuania
On October 21 and 22, 2013 Admiral Markets in cooperation with Investouk – the largest investment and trading magazine in Lithuania– hosted seminars to provide practical advice on trading on the Forex market and an insight into the tax regulation’s changes in 2014. The event was held in 2 cities: Vilnius and Kaunas and included a live Internet broadcast with synchronized translation.
During the seminars two special guests – Chris Svorcik, a professional trader and alnalyst, and Dominykas Vanhara, a lawyer specializing on investments – shared their knowledge and expertise in the respective fields – Forex and tax on investments in 2014. The purpose of the seminars was to raise awareness and knowledge of financial markets and the way they are regulated as well as to create a friendly environment providing the visitors with advice on their trading activities.
During the presentation Chris Svorcik commented on the most important indicators in trading, one of them being time: “Being a short-term trader I personally prefer to hold a position for over two days decreases the probability of success”. Chris emphasized: “Nevertheless, a particular buying or selling time isn’t always the key as you need to pay more attention at the pace at which the direction of a particular position changes. Due to this fact trading isn’t just about indicators and objective factors, but it embraces different psychological factors, the development of which is very important to manage risks.”
At Admiral Markets we are as well convinced that life-long education is crucial for every Forex trader no matter how many years of experience the one has. Chris Svorcik emphasizes that “thinking that with little money and few weeks of practice you can become a good trader is wrong”. According to Chris, lack of discipline, disregard of the market conditions and absence of a clear strategy are only some of the mistakes that traders tend to make. You can find the full list of the 25 most common mistakes according to Chris on Admiral Markets’ YouTube channel
To help traders in avoiding mistakes Admiral Markets offers a vast variety of educational materials among which there are webinars conducted by Chris Svorcik and other professional analysts and traders. We believe that education and professional analytics are crucial for guiding a trader along his career path and we strive at making it accessible for everyone.
